MIGUEL CARBAJAL

Art is not something I try to explain.
I see it as something to live with.
Like a silence that holds presence,
like a color that keeps you company.

My work begins with a simple act:
paying attention.
To the subtle,
the quiet,
the things that often go unnoticed.

Not because it lacks value,
but because it refuses to scream.
I don’t paint to express myself.
Not exactly.

Though each piece is born from within,
my aim is not to speak about me.

I build bridges.
Between the inner and the outer.
Between the personal and the shared.
Between the ego
and the fertile emptiness
where something greater can emerge.
Through painting,
I give form to what can’t be said
but can be felt —
by anyone who’s willing to slow down
and really look.

I create for those who move through life
with a sense of inner exploration,
who see beauty not as decoration,
but as nourishment.
Each piece is part of my own search.
And I offer it
to accompany yours.

Not to teach.
Not to elevate.
Just to be there — with you.

Because life is not always loud.
Some of its deepest moments
arrive quietly.

In the stillness of a room.
In the way light touches a surface.
In a pause that feels like coming home.

My art is born in those moments.

Not to explain life,
but to be with it.
To slow down.
To look again.
To remember what presence feels like.

In a world that moves fast
and pulls us in many directions,
I create works that hold space
for breath,
for awareness,
for depth.

Not as answers,
but as companions.
For those who live consciously

and sense beauty not as luxury

— but as a way back to themselves.

Fragments of Perception

Carlos Lima
On this journey through life, I refuse to follow inertia.
I often encounter physical and mental obstacles, which is why I believe it is essential to pay attention to the signs that are so easily overlooked.

This awareness led me to an extraordinary artist and thinker—Miguel—who guided me on a journey between art and the deconstruction of logic.

Monique Mistelli
Every time I look at the painting,
I feel a renewed sense of possibility and motivation.
It is an invaluable presence—deeply energizing and inspiring.
The result has far exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Chamyn Santiago
The artwork exudes a sense of calm and clarity, offering both grounding and inspiration.

Miguel is an attentive and intuitive listener and that sensitivity is beautifully reflected in his work.
I wholeheartedly recommend his art.
