"Inner Tides"
Explore the Series
Between the known and the unknown, between memory and vision, there exists a current that carries us inward.
What moves beneath the surface of your mind?
Inner Tides is a series that explores the shifting landscapes of thought, perception, and intuition.
Using a symbolic and figurative language, each piece serves as a portal into the unseen forces that shape our inner worlds.
These paintings are not mere depictions; they are invitations—gateways to self-discovery and heightened awareness.
In a reality where the conscious and subconscious intertwine, where instinct meets structure and where perception is shaped by fleeting emotions, this series visualizes the ephemeral yet profound nature of our mental states.
Each brushstroke, each form, each contrast of color and shadow is an echo of something deeper—an emotion, a realization, a fleeting moment of clarity in the vast ocean of the mind.

Born from a desire to capture the impermanence of thought — the way ideas rise, transform and recede like waves.
It reflects my own journey of observing the mind, recognizing how emotions, instincts and external influences create a constant motion beneath the surface of awareness.

This series is not about conclusions, but about questions.
It stems from the experience of watching the subconscious reveal itself in symbols, figures, and sensations that seem both deeply personal and universally shared.

With each painting, I sought to translate this fluid movement into form, creating works that do not remain fixed but continue to shift in meaning as the observer engages with them.

Sum
A golden eagle, a resting feline and a serpent entwined—Sum is a symbolic representation of the self, a visualization of the three fundamental forces that navigate the currents of existence.
Suspended on a boat over deep, shifting waters, these entities travel together, inseparable aspects of what it means to be.

Bottle
A solitary bottle stands against a vast blue expanse. A thin red stream trickles from its sealed top, forming a quiet pool on the surface below.
The image is both still and profoundly alive, evoking the tension between containment and release. Bottle symbolizes the fragile boundary between emotional restraint and the power of expression—the moment when one allows themselves to feel, even if what flows out is pain.

Charakter und Neurose
This work is a meditation on the rigid structures of character and neurosis—the ingrained patterns that shape us, often unconsciously.
Yet within this construct lies the potential for self-awareness, for color to emerge from what was once lifeless.

Amor Fati
The water is dark, charged with energy, yet in the figure’s grasp is a luminous surfboard—a radiant, golden symbol of trust.
Amor Fati embodies the philosophy of embracing fate, meeting the inevitable forces of life with courage, readiness, and surrender.
